RES[ON]ANCE [OFF]
CURATED BY GABRIELLE WHITE
31 July - 14 August, 2020
res[on]ance [off] is a collection of intimate works, developed as a natural response to our social and historical climate. With global enforced lockdowns due to a pandemic, followed by international dialogue surrounding racial prejudice, the current social landscape has been, and continues to be, an important time to reflect, think, act and express.

res[on]ance [off] brings together work by Naomi Blacklock, Libby Harward, Greg Hooper, Del Lumanta, Amelia McLeish, Alexandra Spence and Lucreccia Quintanilla, to explore the innovative artistic approaches and aesthetic possibilities to manifest new imaginative and sonic encounters.

Join us as we actively engage, question, and challenge ourselves, the world, and traditional frameworks through a web of sonic soundscapes.

This program is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
